A jet boat ticket does not automatically include a geothermal park. Rapids Jet currently advertises a Waiotapu combination and a longer option that also includes Te Pā Tū. These are distinct products with different schedules and inclusions. Start by deciding whether you want a park-and-river day or a longer outing that finishes with a cultural evening.
The operator describes two activities at two locations and recommends visiting Waiotapu first, then riding Rapids Jet. The recommendation makes the park visit part of your morning rather than squeezing it in after a late boat departure. Confirm the required jet time while booking and check travel arrangements directly; a two-attraction package is not automatically a transport package.
Te Pā Tū’s full-day tour includes Waiotapu, Rapids Jet and its Māori cultural evening, with transport between Rotorua and Taupō. Its published pickup is in Rotorua. This matters if you are staying in Taupō: do not assume a central Taupō hotel pickup is available. Contact the provider about joining arrangements before buying a Rotorua-departing itinerary.
